The Centennial Airport Community Noise Roundtable was created in May 2009 with the purpose of working with the airport to explore ways to reduce and mitigate the impact of aircraft noise on surrounding communities. The Roundtable is comprised of local elected officials, appointed representatives from the community, airport staff, the FAA, CDOT (Aeronautics Division) and airport users.
The CACNR meets on the first Wednesday of each month, at 6:30 p.m. The Centennial Airport Community Noise roundtable meetings will be held in a hybrid environment using GoToWebinar™. Members of the public are invited to continue to join us virtually or in person.
NEXT CACNR MEETING: December 4, 2024, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Centennial Airport is one of only a handful of airports in the nation that has been successful in forming a Study Group that includes participation from technical experts from the FAA, airport staff, community representatives, and flight schools. This is critical, as the FAA has sole jurisdiction and control over all the aircraft in the airspace. The Study Group issues regular progress reports detailing its process of exploring and implementing mitigations to help reduce the overflights and noise.
